BERKELEY COLLEGE APPOINTS ROBERT F. HERZOG
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Robert F. Herzog has been appointed as Berkeley College Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration. In this position, Mr. Herzog will be responsible for all financial planning, analysis and internal financial reporting activities for the College and will oversee the areas of Campus Operations, Student Accounts, Operations and Budgeting.

“Mr. Herzog’s strong financial expertise and leadership roles in higher education exemplify the quality standards that are aligned with the values of the Berkeley College organization,” said Dario A. Cortes, PhD, President of Berkeley College. “Mr. Herzog will be an asset to the College as we move forward with our 2015-2020 Strategic Plan.”

Most recently, Mr. Herzog served as Chief Financial Officer for Harrison College in Indianapolis, IN. In this position, he was responsible for the budget and financial reporting, audit and tax, compliance and regulatory, legal, information technology, external relations, scholarship foundation, real estate development, and the Board of Trustees Relations and Governance functions. In prior professional positions, he provided strategic financial consulting to emerging businesses and organizations and led businesses’ internal audit and risk management groups.

Mr. Herzog currently chairs the Board of Directors of the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities. He has been a member of this board since 2009 and formerly also has served as Treasurer, Vice Chairman, Chair of Public Policy, and Co-Chair of the Grassroots Committee. Mr. Herzog received a BS in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Minnesota State University – Mankato. He is a member of Financial Executives International and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
