GLEN ZEITZER APPOINTED PROVOST
OF BERKELEY COLLEGE
Berkeley College President Dario A. Cortes, PhD, has announced the appointment of Glen Zeitzer, PhD, as Provost of Berkeley College. Dr. Zeitzer currently serves as Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, New York, and will assume his new position on April 1.
“Those of us who have had the opportunity to work with Glen admire and respect his commitment to academic excellence,” says Dr. Cortes. “Berkeley has made considerable advances under his leadership, and I am confident that he will be equally effective in the years ahead as he positions Berkeley to achieve the academic and student development goals emerging from our strategic planning process.”

In 2000 and 2001, he served as Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, New Jersey campuses, where he played a major role in securing state approval for the College’s first baccalaureate degree, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Dr. Zeitzer earned degrees in European and American History from the University of Cincinnati, New York University, and Bryn Mawr College. He has served at a variety of institutions of higher education including Adelphi University, The French Culinary Institute, and the New England Institute of Technology.
