Berkeley College Appoints Lenore Molee as Dean, School of Professional Studies

Lenore Molee, JD, has been appointed Dean, Berkeley College School of Professional Studies. In this role, Ms. Molee will maintain academic standards, oversee the hiring of faculty, and work with other deans to support the Mission and Values of Berkeley College.

“As Dean, Ms. Molee will oversee and contribute to exciting programs that help our students succeed in fields like Graphic Design, Interior Design, Legal Studies and Justice Studies. She also has a deep commitment to service learning, which is an important part of the Berkeley College curriculum,” said Marianne P. Vakalis, EdD, Berkeley College Provost.

Ms. Molee most recently served as Associate Professor, Justice Studies, and Director, Paralegal Studies, at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. While at Montclair State University, she was recognized as a Service Learning Faculty Scholar and received the Distinguished Teacher Award in 2013. She previously represented clients in real estate, civil litigation, and estate and probate matters as a sole practitioner in Rockaway, NJ.

Ms. Molee has lectured at numerous international and national conferences on the topics of service learning, community engagement, experiential learning, and faculty development and mentoring. She has authored and co-authored articles in The Paralegal Educator, the Journal of Experiential Education, and the Journal of Paralegal Education and Practice.

Ms. Molee is a member of the International Association for Research on Service-learning and Community Engagement, the American Association for Paralegal Education and the American Association for Paralegal Education, Access to Justice Taskforce.

She holds a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, NJ, and a BA in Political Science from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA.
