BERKELEY COLLEGE APPOINTS JOSHUA T. WILLIAMS AS
CHAIR, FASHION, LARRY L. LUING SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
Berkeley College is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua T. Williams as Chair of the Fashion Department, Larry L. Luing School of Business. In addition to teaching a variety of courses related to online retail, e-commerce, direct marketing and interactive fashion marketing, Mr. Williams serves as an international guest lecturer on these subjects. He is a resident of Bloomfield, NJ.
“Mr. Williams has an extensive resume of academic and career achievements in the fashion industry,” said Wolfgang Hinck, Interim Dean, Larry L. Luing School of Business. “His knowledge will enhance the experiences of Berkeley College students as they launch successful careers in the global marketplace.”
Mr. Williams teaches courses such as Visual Merchandising, Fashion Forecasting and Retail Management and has extensive business experience in retail marketing and communications. He is the Founder and President of Fashion Consort, LLC, a high level consulting agency with a focus on omni-channel retailing. Prior work experience includes Vice President, Marketing & E-commerce/Creative Director, Lindsay Phillips, Inc., Cedar Knolls, NJ; Director of Corporate Branding & Online Retail, J.McLaughlin, New York, NY; National Director of Retail, BodyWorlds, and Director of Community Outreach, Clear Channel Media & Entertainment, both in Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Williams holds a Master in Professional Studies in Global Fashion Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY, in cooperation with the Institut Francais de la Mode and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
