BERKELEY COLLEGE APPOINTS SHAROD TOMLINSON AS DIRECTOR, STUDENT DEVELOPMENT AND CAMPUS LIFE, FOR WESTCHESTER CAMPUS
 
Berkeley College is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharod Tomlinson as Director, Student Development and Campus Life, for the Westchester Campus in White Plains, NY. In this role Mr. Tomlinson will contribute to the intellectual and social growth of students by planning and implementing extracurricular and co-curricular campus activities, among other tasks.
 
Mr. Tomlinson most recently served Berkeley College as Program Coordinator, Student Development and Campus Life, for the New York City Midtown Campus. In this role he coordinated student events including Commencement, service learning initiatives and professional development programs, among others.
 
“As Program Coordinator, Mr. Tomlinson has helped our students get involved and make the most of their time at Berkeley College,” said Berkeley College Senior Vice President for Student Success Thomas L. Thomas, PhD. “Berkeley College is confident he will continue to exhibit this dedication to student success in his new role at the Westchester Campus.”
 
Mr. Tomlinson serves as Head Coach for the Berkeley College Women’s Basketball Team in New York. He recently completed a 15-month fellowship for urban youth workers with the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative in Holland, MI.
 
Mr. Tomlinson holds an MS in Nonprofit Management from the New School in New York and a BA in Public Administration – Human Resource Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.
