BERKELEY COLLEGE APPOINTS DALLAS REED, PhD, AS
DEAN, STUDENT DEVELOPMENT AND CAMPUS LIFE, NEW YORK

Berkeley College is proud to announce the appointment of Dallas Reed, PhD, as Dean, Student Development and Campus Life, New York. In this role, Dr. Reed will be responsible for all aspects of student life at the New York campuses, and will work closely with students, faculty and staff in the creative design and implementation of student development programs. 

“Dr. Reed has dedicated her career in higher education to the support and success of students,” said Edwin Hughes, EdD, Vice President, Student Development and Campus Life. “Her leadership will ensure that our students make the most of their time at Berkeley College.” 

Before coming to Berkeley College, Dr. Reed served as Associate Vice President for Student Life at Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS, where she assisted in the management of residential life, career services, counseling, campus safety and student activities, among other responsibilities. 

She holds a PhD in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS; an MSOL (Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership) from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC; and a BA in General Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Public Relations and Management from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA.
