BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES UNIFIED LOGO FOR
NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK ATHLETICS TEAMS
Berkeley College is pleased to announce that its athletics teams in both New Jersey and New York will now be represented by a single name and logo — the Berkeley College Knights. Its athletics teams in New Jersey formerly were known as the Berkeley College Bulldogs.
The announcement was made in a three-part video series, with the final video being released on the first day of the Summer Quarter.
“Having all Berkeley College athletics teams represented by a single logo standardizes and unifies our teams regardless of what campus they represent,” said Berkeley College Athletic Director Brian Maher. “The knight is part of the original crest of Berkeley College, and therefore conveys a sense of history and tradition.”
Berkeley College recently began competing as a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) institution after being approved for membership by its Board of Directors in May.
A leader in business education for 79 years, Berkeley College maintains an enrollment of more than 8,000 students, including 665 international students in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs. The College has two New York campuses in Midtown Manhattan and White Plains, an Extension Center in Lower Manhattan in the Wall Street area; four New Jersey campuses located in Woodland Park (formerly West Paterson), Paramus, Woodbridge, and Newark; and Berkeley College Online. Concentrations are offered in more than 20 career fields, and all campuses are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College’s website address is www.BerkeleyCollege.edu.
