BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES

SEPTEMBER EVENTS

 

September 1  

Berkeley College is pleased to sponsor “Sounds of the City” – the last of a series of free outdoor concerts that have been held on Thursday evenings throughout the summer at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Theater Square, One Center Street, Newark, NJ, from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.  This last performance features a tribute to the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson.  For up-to-date information, call the hotline on 973-353-8046 or visit www.njpac.org

Berkeley College is pleased to sponsor “Shopping and Music Under the Stars.” Quimbombo, a Cuban musical group, will entertain children at Albee Square, Fulton and Bond Streets, Brooklyn, NY.  This live music event starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.  Participating area stores will stay open late to accommodate families.  For up-to-date information, call Conrad Walker, Campus Operating Officer, Brooklyn Location, on 718-637-8600, ext. 4601, or e-mail  crw@BerkeleyCollege.edu.

The following event will take place at Berkeley College, Woodland Park Location, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park:

Berkeley College will host an Open House for adult students from noon to 7:00 pm.  The event offers all interested students immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff, and learn about degree programs.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext.
