NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

 

 

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, Garret Mountain Campus, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park:

 

September 1

 

Berkeley College will offer a Financial Planners Certificate Program Information Session at 6:00 pm.  The goal of this session is to equip students with invaluable skills that will allow them to excel as a Certified Financial Planner.  Students will learn from outstanding faculty members who bring practical experience, as well as exceptional learning, into the classroom.  For more information, call 800-446-5400, ext. September 11   

 

Berkeley College will host an Open House from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The event offers all interested students immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty and learn about online degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext. September 14

September 2 - 30

 

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Berkeley College is exhibiting the work of artist Jose Acosta at the Midtown Campus Gallery, First Floor Lobby, 3 East 43rd Street.  Born in San Jose, Cuba, Mr. Acosta immigrated with his family to the United States a few years later.  He has been creating art as long as he can remember and studied with John Hultberg, abstract expressionist and surrealist, who greatly influenced him. The artist has shown his work in over 300 group shows and 15 solo shows.  His exhibit is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  An artist’s reception will be held on Wednesday, September 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  For more information, please contact Berkeley Gallery Curator Robert Keiber at rjk@BerkeleyCollege.edu or 212-252-2065.
