The following events will take place at Berkeley College, 536 Broad Street, Newark: 

October 10      

Berkeley College will host an Open House from noon to 7:00 pm. The event offers all interested students immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext. Berkeley College will sponsor its 8th Annual Charity Car Show and Family Fun Day from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (rain date October 28).  All proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Boomer Esiason Foundation to help find a cure for this terrible disease.  Car enthusiasts are invited to register their vehicles for display; registration fee is $20.  All participants who register by October 15 will receive a participation trophy.  Food and beverages are available.  For registration forms or for more information, contact Tracy Welch at 201-967-9667, ext. 1706, or visit https://mail.BerkeleyCollege.edu/accarshow.nsf.

Berkeley College proudly presents the “6th Annual Under the Tent Networking Event.” in partnership with the Greater Paterson, North Jersey Regional, and Tri-County Chambers of Commerce.  As in past years, this event features great jazz, food, and networking, and will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, with a rain date of October 11.  The cost is $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers.  Please RSVP by October 5 to your respective chamber:  Greater Paterson, 973-881-7300; North Jersey Regional, 973-470-9300; or Tri-County, 862-210-8328.  Or you can call Berkeley College at 201-967-9667, ext. 1794.  Note that seats are limited to the first 250 responders.
