In honor of Women’s Entrepreneurship Week, Berkeley College is hosting a special free event  featuring panel discussions with prominent women leaders. Women in Media: The Courage to Own Your Story will discuss how women are shaping the news landscape, how small businesses can stand out by sharing their stories, and how entrepreneurs can develop and protect their digital presence.  The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The panelists include:

The Berkeley College Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce Alumni Weekend 2017. The reunion weekend is an opportunity for the more than 50,000 Berkeley College alumni who comprise the Berkeley College Alumni Association to greet and network with fellow graduates and faculty.

Alumni and guests can choose from a variety of activities, including a Manhattan dinner cruise,  career and leadership development workshops, a walking tour and wine toasting social, and the Making Strides five-mile walk in Central Park. Alumni will also have the opportunity to reconnect with the faculty, who are well-versed in their respective industries.

In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Berkeley College will host a special panel discussion that spotlights individuals with physical and mental health disabilities who continue to succeed in a range of professional fields, including legal studies, journalism, human services, and workplace management.

Work Matters for All: Personal Stories of Disability and Professional Success” will feature panelists sharing their unique achievements and challenges, resources and support systems, and advice for developing professional skills and pursuing dream-worthy career goals.
