NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

 

 

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, Bergen Campus, 64 East Midland Avenue, Paramus: 

 

May 2

 

Design a Kitchen Workshop:  Participate in a hands-on project where you will experience the process of designing a kitchen. Meet the Berkeley College Interior Design Department Chairman Kevin Byrne, ASID.  Get to know faculty members and successful alumni.  Learn about the many benefits of the Interior Design degree programs. The following events will take place at Berkeley College, Garret Mountain Campus, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park (formerly West Paterson):

 

May 2 – 17

 

By special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, the Berkeley College Department of Student Development and Campus Life presents its first spring theatre festival in  Knupple Hall Community Room.  The Tricky Park is a riveting journey though the complexities of Catholicism, desire, and human trespass, performed by Berkeley College Professor Thomas Farrington. Close Encounters of the Personal Kind is a double bill of one-act plays:  The Stronger depicts a public confrontation between two actresses, and The Bear is a rollicking comedy about a young wealthy widow who is determined to mourn her late husband forever.  This production, directed by Professor Farrington, will be performed by a cast consisting entirely of Berkeley College students and alumni.

Berkeley College is exhibiting the work of artist Del Viarengo at the Midtown Campus Gallery, First Floor Lobby 3 East 43rd Street.  Ms. Viarengo’s exhibit of oils, acrylic, and collage - Italian Memories–Landscapes of Tuscany - is based on memories of time spent in the Italian countryside and a cache of letters sent between two Italian immigrants.  The exhibit is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  An artist’s reception will be held on Wednesday, May 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  For more information, please contact Berkeley Gallery Curator Robert Keiber @ rjk@BerkeleyCollege.edu or 212-252-2065.
