 NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, Garret Mountain Campus,  44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park:

March 18

Berkeley College is holding its Third Annual Women’s Leadership Panel in the Knuppel Hall Community Room, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a light lunch.  All are invited to hear women in power share their perspectives and experiences.  Speakers are:  Assemblywoman Elease Evans, 35th District; Gail Gordon, Political Strategist and Fundraiser; Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose, 24th District; Assemblywoman Nellie Pou, 35th District; and Assemblywoman Connie Wagner, 38th District.  Admission is free.  RSVP by March 15 to Laura DeMers, 973-278-5400, ext. 1794, or e-mail lad@BerkeleyCollege.edu.

Berkeley College will host a Parent Day and FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Workshop from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Parents/guardians and students have the chance to learn more about the college and meet other future students.  Current students will be on hand to share their experiences.  Representatives of student support groups will discuss clubs, organizations, and student support services.  The FAFSA workshop is for parents/guardians of high school seniors interested in applying for financial aid.  How to apply for a PIN and a full explanation of the financial aid process will be discussed.  A presentation will take place on Berkeley College institutional aid in the form of scholarships and grants.  Parents/guardians can request a financial aid planning session by presenting their most recent income tax returns to a financial aid administrator.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext. The following events will take place at Berkeley College, Midtown Campus, 3 East 43rd Street, New York City:

March 1-31

Berkeley College is exhibiting the work of artist Sidney Harris at the Midtown Campus Gallery, First Floor Lobby, 3 East 43rd Street.  Mr. Harris began his career as a science cartoonist and since then has drawn literally thousands of cartoons.  He has been praised by such luminaries as Linus Pauling and Isaac Asimov, as well as countless scientists throughout the world, for his ability to find humor in science and technology.  His exhibit is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  For more information, please contact Berkeley Gallery Curator Robert Keiber at rjk@BerkeleyCollege.eduor 212-252-2065.
