JUNE EVENTS

 

NEW JERSEY LOCATIONS

The following event will take place at Berkeley College, 1 Blackwell Street, Dover: 

June 11

Berkeley College will host a free presentation on Understanding What is Toxic from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Nicole Barone, Toxicity and Wellness Coach, Isagenix International, will cover ways to avoid potential danger.  Learn how to protect your family by understanding how your food,  water and environment can become toxic.  For more information, call 1-800-446-5400, ext. The following event will take place at Berkeley College, 536 Broad Street, Newark

June 11  

Berkeley College will host an Immediate Decision Day from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.  The event is for high school seniors and adult students, and offers immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.  For more information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext. June 14

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, 12 East 41st Street, New York:

June 7 and 21

Berkeley College will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Workshop at 11:00 am.  This hands-on workshop is for parents/guardians of high school seniors interested in applying for financial aid, and students are encouraged to attend.  How to apply for a PIN and a full explanation of the financial aid process will be discussed.  A presentation will take place on Berkeley College institutional aid in the form of scholarships and grants.  Parents/guardians can request a financial aid planning session by presenting their most recent income tax returns to a financial aid administrator.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext. June 10

Berkeley College will host a free Ethical Issues in Graphic Design Webinar at noon led by Eileen MacAvery Kane, Chair, Graphic Design, School of Professional Studies, Berkeley College.  The webinar will cover the principles of graphic design.  In addition to winning numerous industry awards, Ms. MacAvery Kane has gained international recognition with her blog, ethicsingraphicdesign.org.  Her book, Ethics: A Graphic Designer’s Field Guide, has been praised by design educators.  For more information, call 1-800-446-5400, ext.
