BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES JANUARY 2010 EVENTS

 

 

NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

 

 

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, Bergen Campus, 64 East Midland Avenue, Paramus: 

 

January 20

 

Berkeley College will host an Open House from 12:00 to 7:00 pm.  The event offers all interested students immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty and learn about online degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext. Berkeley College will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Online Workshop from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.  This hands-on workshop is for parents/guardians of high school seniors interested in applying for financial aid, and students are encouraged to attend. How to apply for a PIN number and a full explanation of the financial aid process will be discussed.  A presentation will take place on Berkeley College institutional aid in the form of scholarships and grants.  Parents/guardians can request a financial aid planning session by presenting their 2008 income tax returns to a financial aid administrator.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext.
