BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES

FEBRUARY EVENTS 

 

NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

 

 

The following event will take place at Berkeley College, One West Blackwell Street, Dover: 

 

February 1     

 

Alumni of Berkeley College (and their guests) are invited to an Alumni Open House from 5 to 8 p.m.  All will have the opportunity to meet with Career Services and Alumni Relations, learn about the new MBA program, go on a campus tour, and more.  A Happy Hour will be held at 6 p.m. at Six West Bar & Grill, Dover, just across the street from the campus.  For more information, email alumni@BerkeleyCollege.edu.

February 15

 

Berkeley College welcomes entrepreneur and author Dr. Randal Pinkett as its Black History Month guest speaker. He will address Berkeley College students and guests about ways to obtain an entrepreneur mindset, and share lessons he has learned on his quest for success.  Known to millions of television viewers as the winner of NBC’s The Apprentice, Season 4, Dr. Pinkett has established himself as an entrepreneur, speaker, author and scholar, and as a leading voice for his generation in business and technology. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, a multimillion dollar management consulting, research and evaluation, information technology, and data analytics firm. February 22    

 

Berkeley College will host a free Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Information Session from 10 am to 12 noon. Applicants must have completed an accredited LPN program in the United States, possess an unrestricted active or inactive LPN license, and have completed a minimum of 2,080 hours of work as an LPN within the last two years.  At the event, you will receive an overview of the program by the faculty, learn what requirements are necessary for you to apply, and tour the facilities and nursing labs.  Then, following a question and answer session, interested students will have the chance to apply to the program.  For more information, call 800-446-5400, ext. NEW YORK CAMPUSES

 

 

 

The following event will take place at Berkeley College, 3 East 43rd Street, New York City:

In celebration of Black History Month, Berkeley College is presenting the artwork of Cynthia E. Jones. The exhibit is on display Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ms. Jones is originally from New York, NY, and studied commercial art at Brooklyn College, NY. She is a member of the World Fine Arts Group, composed of artists all over the world. Berkeley College will host an Open House and Scholarship Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is for high school seniors, adult students and members of the military.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  For more information, please call 800-446-5400, ext.
