BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES

AUGUST EVENTS

 

August 4, 11, 18, and 25

Berkeley College is pleased to sponsor “Sounds of the City” – a series of free outdoor concerts held on Thursday evenings throughout the summer at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Theater Square, One Center Street, Newark, from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.  The concerts will feature the region’s best jazz, pop/rock, R&B, and world-renowned music artists.  Invited artists include Bradford Hayes, Nelly Soriano, Tre Williams, Traz Messiah, DJ Adam Cruz, DJ Naeem Johnson, and DJ Raheem Roach.  For up-to-date information, call the hotline on 973-353-8046 or visit www.njpac.org

 

NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

The following event will take place at Berkeley College, Garret Mountain Campus,  44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park:

August 17   

Berkeley College will host an Open House for adult students from noon to 7:00 pm.  The event offers all interested students immediate information regarding acceptance for the upcoming quarter.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff, and learn about degree programs.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  Students interested in immediate decision must bring high school transcripts and take an entrance examination; however, those students who have already completed an Associate’s degree are exempt from the exam.  For further information, please call 1-800-446-5400, ext.
