NEW JERSEY CAMPUSES

 

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, 64 East Midland Avenue, Paramus:

 

April 3         

          

Berkeley College will host an Open House from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event is for high school seniors and adult students. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities. April 4

 

In honor of National Healthcare Decisions Day (April 16), Berkeley College has partnered with North Jersey Villages, the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute and Bergen County’s Conversations of Your Life (COYL) organization to host a signing event titled, “Just Do It:  Planning for a Good Life and Death.” These signing events feature local community leaders and task force members from the legal, medical, practical, emotional, ethical or spiritual aspects of advance care planning who will guide participants on how to approach family, friends, caregivers and doctors to start the conversation about what you value in life.  The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (includes light dinner and dessert).  Speakers are:

Criminal Justice Workshop:  Get firsthand insight into this field by criminal justice experts.  Learn about the training needed to get started from a police executive, a law enforcement officer, Berkeley College staff and alumni in the field.  The workshop, held from 4 to 6 p.m., is free, but seating is limited. Business Career Workshop:  Moderated by Chris Christiansen, Assistant Chair, Management, Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business, this workshop covers the different career paths in this field. Career Services associates specializing in business will discuss resume building, career opportunities and the earning potential in the field.
