BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES APRIL EVENTS
 

NEW YORK CAMPUSES

 

The following events will take place at Berkeley College, 255 Duffield Street, Brooklyn:

 

April 12 

 

Berkeley College will host an Open House from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.  The event is for high school juniors, seniors and adult students.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  For further information, please call 800-446-5400, ext. April 14

 

Berkeley College will host an Open House from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is for high school juniors, seniors and adult students.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet staff and faculty, and learn about degree programs, as well as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.  Transfer students will learn about transfer opportunities.  For further information, please call 800-446-5400, ext. Berkeley College will host FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Workshops at 10 a.m. and 12 noon. These hands-on workshops are for adults as well as parents/guardians of high school seniors interested in applying for financial aid.  Students are encouraged to attend and should bring identification.  How to apply for a PIN and a full explanation of the financial aid process will be discussed.  Berkeley College institutional aid in the form of scholarships and grants will also be presented.  Parents/guardians can request a free financial aid planning session by bringing their most recent income tax returns to a Financial Aid Administrator.  For further information, please call 800-446-5400, ext. Fashion Careers:  Get up-to-the-minute information about careers in fashion from Marisa Lowenstein, Senior Director, Creative Services, Ralph Lauren.  Hear what goes on behind the scenes, and learn about the training and skills needed to get started and remain successful.  Go on a walking tour on Fifth Avenue, featuring WindowsWear, a collection of fashion windows and visual displays.  The event begins at 10 a.m. and is free, but seating is limited.  For more information, call 800-446-5400, ext. Luing School of Business, will lead this interactive discussion.  Hear what goes on behind the scenes and learn about the training and skills needed to get started and remain successful.  Career Services associates will discuss career opportunities and earning potential in this field.  The workshop runs from 3 to 4 p.m. and is free, but seating is limited.
