Bergen County High School Seniors Awarded Berkeley College Scholarships

High school seniors from Bergen County, NJ, have received scholarships to attend Berkeley College. Each year, these scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate a high level of achievement. The scholarships are renewable, based on the recipient’s cumulative grade point average at the end of each academic year and continued enrollment as a full-time student. 

“These students have demonstrated their ability and desire to further their achievements by pursuing a college degree,” said Dario A. Cortes, PhD, President of Berkeley College. “They deserve these scholarships, which can go a long way in helping the next generation of students access a well-rounded, career-focused education.” 

The following students from Bergen County have received scholarships to attend Berkeley College: 

- Sona Bayrami of Fort Lee, Fort Lee High School
- Alen Frashnishta of Cliffside Park, Cliffside Park High School
- Michelle Lacap of Rochelle Park, Hackensack High School
- Daniel Mora of Little Ferry, Ridgefield Park Junior/Senior High School
- Kevin Ortega of Fairview, Cliffside Park High School
- Ismael Rodriguez of Ridgefield Park, Ridgefield Park Junior/Senior High School
- Harley Ruiz of Cliffside Park, Cliffside Park High School
- Ida Sato of Edgewater, Leonia High School
- Sharyce Torres of Cliffside Park, Cliffside Park High School
- Alejandro Trejos of Bogota, Bogota High School
