Berkeley College is pleased to announce that the artwork of the Angelo Marfisi, on display at its Midtown Manhattan Gallery, 3 East 43rd Street, New York City, has been extended through August 31. The exhibit can be viewed Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Raised in Italy, Mr. Marfisi studied at the Art Institute in Lanciano, Italy, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Italy. He came to the United States and continued his education at the School of Visual Arts, Art Students League and New York University—all in New York City.
“I love to experiment and started working with objects and blinding color art,” said Mr. Marfisi. Most of his projects incorporate very unusual objects, extreme bright colors and concentric sequences. They are always covered with acrylic resins that enhance their brilliance.
“We’ve had a great response to Mr. Marfisi’s artwork which has been on display for a month, so we decided to extend the exhibit,” said Robert Keiber, Curator, Berkeley College Midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn Galleries. “Viewers say they are intrigued with his work and I agree.”
For more information about the exhibit, e-mail Mr. Keiber at rjk@BerkeleyCollege.edu or call 212-252-2065.
