6th ANNUAL BERKELEY COLLEGE CHARITY CAR SHOW
RAISES $25,000 FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION
Car enthusiasts from across the tri-state area visited the Berkeley College Paramus Campus on October 24 for the 6th Annual Charity Car Show. The show featured nearly 300 classic and collector cars, and it raised more than $25,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
“Thanks to a matching donation from Berkeley College and the involvement of many volunteers, this year’s Charity Car Show shattered records from previous shows and raised a significant amount of money for this worthy cause,” said Berkeley College Senior Director of Enrollment Robert Oddo, who organized the event.
The Charity Car Show featured a blood drive, clowns, an a cappella singing group, and a Halloween costume contest. The show was supported by a team of Berkeley College associates and students along with their families and friends.
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States, and 70,000 people worldwide.
