BERKELEY COLLEGE STUDENT FROM QUEENS RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP FROM
AMERICAN SOCIETY OF INTERIOR DESIGNERS, NJ CHAPTER

Berkeley College is proud to announce that the recipient of the 2012 Jay Slack Memorial Educational Scholarship, awarded by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (NJASID), is Or Moladjan, a resident of Flushing in Queens, NY. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic accomplishments and financial need.

An international student from Israel, Ms. Moladjan is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Design at Berkeley College in Paramus. She is on track to graduate in July 2014 and aspires to run her own Interior Design business.

“Or’s vision for design is very global. Her passion and technical skills – combined with creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail – are why she stands out in class and achieves exceptional grades,” said Jason Lee, Faculty Liaison for the Berkeley College Student Chapter of NJASID.

Students with a BFA degree in Interior Design are prepared for careers in areas including residential or commercial interior design; exhibit design; design management; and merchandising and retail display management. Berkeley College also offers an Associate in Applied Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at the Paramus location.

A leader in business education for more than 80 years, Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolls more than 8,700 students — including over 800 international students — in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs. The College has four New Jersey locations — Woodland Park, Paramus, Woodbridge, and Newark. And in New York there are four locations — Midtown Manhattan, Lower Manhattan in the Wall Street area, Brooklyn, and White Plains.  Berkeley College Online also offers full degree programs. Programs are offered in more than 20 career fields. The website address is www.BerkeleyCollege.edu.
