BERKELEY COLLEGE STUDENT VETERAN RECEIVES HONORARY AWARD
FOR MILITARY SERVICE FROM LA VOZ DE AMERICA

 

Photo Caption: Berkeley College student Speedy Guareno of Kearny in Hudson County, NJ, recently received an honorary award from La Voz de America, a publication that covers news of interest to the Hispanic community. Mr. Guareno, a veteran of the U.S. Army, was recognized for his military service, during which he was stationed in Iraq. He attends Berkeley College in Newark, where he is pursuing a degree in Justice Studies – Criminal Justice with a minor in Management.
