BERKELEY COLLEGE SENIOR VP EXTERNAL AFFAIRS
HONORED FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO EDUCATION
AT GARDEN STATE WOMAN OF THE YEAR LUNCHEON

Berkeley College is proud to announce that Senior Vice President of External Affairs Teri Duda was honored as Garden State Woman of the Year in the category of Education at the Third Annual Luncheon hosted by the Garden State Woman Education Foundation. At the event, GardenState Woman magazine founder and editor, Judy Chapman, acknowledged all 11 of the award recipients for their commitment of giving back to the community, and for their significance as role models for other women. Proceeds from the luncheon support the education of exceptional young women graduating from New Jersey inner-city school systems.

“We are thrilled that Teri’s outstanding dedication to helping New Jersey residents to further their education is being recognized by Garden State Woman magazine,” says Berkeley College Board Chairman Kevin Luing. “Teri’s commitment and involvement brings more internships, community service opportunities and satisfying careers to our students while also contributing to community and business growth.”

Ms. Duda has been honored on several occasions for her contribution towards helping to further the education of New Jersey citizens. Most recently the NJ General Assembly presented her with The Shirley Chisholm Catalyst for Change Award, citing her work at Berkeley College as having enabled thousands of people to realize their own “American Dream.”

A leader in business education for more than 75 years, Berkeley College currently maintains an enrollment of more than 6,000 students, with nearly 600 international students in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs.
