Photo Caption: Berkeley College Health Services students had an opportunity to meet television personality Dr. Oz during the taping of a segment that will air this week on FOX WNYW. The segment, which will be broadcast on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 1 p.m., featured tips for probiotic health, as well as a discussion of life balance with author and faith leader DeVon Franklin. The Berkeley College students who attended the taping are enrolled in the Health Services Administration program, which focuses on the support of health services in hospitals, physicians’ offices, clinics and other healthcare facilities. The trip was organized by LaToya Trowers-Bell, EdD, Chair, Health Services Administration, who founded a Health Services Administration Club to integrate community service and experiential learning into the classroom. Pictured above are students and staff with Dr. Oz following the taping. Pictured below are students and staff outside ABC Studios on West 66th Street in Manhattan, NY.
