The Berkeley College Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams are preparing to compete this weekend in the 2017-2018 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) tournaments.

The Berkeley College Men’s Basketball team aims to win its fourth consecutive HVIAC crown – and 10th overall regional championship.  The Berkeley Knights currently are riding a 19-game winning streak and a 22-1 overall record, including a mark of 7-0 in the regional competition. The Knights, who are the tournament’s No. 1 seed, will take on the No. 4 seed – the Vaughn College Warriors – on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 5 pm at the College of New Rochelle Wellness Center arena. A trip to the championship is at stake when these two teams meet in this semifinal round. For live stats of the game, click here.

The Berkeley College Women’s Basketball team will be looking to make history as they aim to win their first-ever HVIAC title. The Berkeley College Women’s Basketball team enters this year’s tournament as the No. 3 seed. They take on the No. 2 seed – the Blue Angels of the College of New Rochelle – on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. Berkeley College will need to exorcise some demons to advance to this year’s championship game. It has been several years since the Knights beat New Rochelle. The Berkeley Knight to watch is Ayana Ratliff, HVIAC’s leading scorer, with more than 27 points per contest. For live stats of the game click here.

The men’s championship game will be on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 1:00 pm, teams to be announced. The link for the live stats will be posted Sunday morning.  For more information about the HVIAC Conference, click here.  For more information about the Berkeley College Knights, click here.
