BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM MANHATTAN RECEIVES ATHLETIC
HONORS FROM HUDSON VALLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

Berkeley College is proud to announce that freshman forward Haakon Schjelderup of Manhattan, NY, and Kolvereid, Norway, has received athletic honors from the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for men’s soccer. Mr. Schjelderup attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.

Mr. Schjelderup was named to the HVIAC honor roll during the week of October 1 for his performance in games against Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, and The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He anchored the Knights’ defense during the pair of victories, allowing just three shots on goal.

“We are extremely proud of Haakon for this well-deserved recognition,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “His outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from him at Berkeley.”
