BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM CORONA NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK BY
HUDSON VALLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE 
 

Berkeley College is proud to announce that senior goalie Camilo Montes of Corona in Queens, NY, has been named Player of the Week by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for men’s soccer. Mr. Montes attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.

Mr. Montes received the HVIAC honor during the week of September 4 for his performance in a game against Fairleigh Dickinson University – College at Florham, during which he made nine saves, including stopping a penalty kick.

“We are extremely proud of Camilo for this well-deserved recognition,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “His outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from him at Berkeley.”
