BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM BROOKLYN NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
BY HUDSON VALLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

Berkeley College is proud to announce that sophomore guard/forward Keenan Langston of Brooklyn in Kings County, NY, has been named Rookie of the Week by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for men’s basketball. Mr. Langston attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.  

Mr. Langston received the HVIAC honor during the week of December 31 for averaging 12.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in games against Endicott College and Bates College. He highlighted the week with a 19-point effort on 7-of-18 shooting with five thefts in the opening round of the Salem State Holiday Classic against Endicott College.

 It is the fourth time this season Mr. Langston has received Rookie of the Week honors.

“Keenan has been a tremendous presence for our men’s basketball team all season,” said Andy DeStephano, Berkeley College Director of Athletics. “His accomplishment has contributed to the overall success of our Men’s Basketball Team at Berkeley College. He brings terrific energy and a positive attitude night in and night out.”
