BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES
The Berkeley College Fashion Club of the Paramus Campus will join with Lord & Taylor for an exciting styling event to be held at the Lord & Taylor store, Fashion Center, Route 17 and Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ, beginning at 1 p.m. Berkeley College students will model womenswear – day to evening – and assist with styling and behind the scenes. The following events will take place at Berkeley College, 64 East Midland Avenue, Paramus:
Fashion Workshop: Explore the exciting field of fashion, from buying and product development to display and merchandising. Learn from industry-trained faculty. This comprehensive workshop includes a hands-on design project and field trips to design showrooms. Experienced professionals will discuss fundamentals and a range of career opportunities. The following event will take place at Berkeley College, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland
Berkeley College will host a free Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Information Session from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Applicants must have completed an accredited LPN program in the United States, possess an unrestricted active or inactive LPN license, and have completed a minimum of 2,080 hours of work as an LPN within the last two years. At the event, you will receive an overview of the program by the faculty, learn what requirements are necessary for you to apply, and tour the facilities and nursing labs. The following event will take place at Berkeley College, 12 East 41st Street, New York City:
Berkeley College will host the Quality Matters Regional Conference titled, “Accreditation, Regulation and Compliance – Oh My.” Keynote speaker is A. Ellie Fogarty, EdD, Vice President, Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Philadelphia, PA, who will share insights about what changes are on the horizon for quality assurance.
The event will feature more than 30 workshop sessions about topics such as: the framework for online courses, awareness of federal regulations and public expectations, issues in communicating the quality of innovative instructional practices, and takeaway ideas for demonstrating student success and for supporting the reaffirmation of accreditation.
